Steam is one of the well-known distributors who have distributed many famous games such as Dota 2, CS-Go, Pubg. But when you already have steam and want to play the game from steam, you have to download a game that has a large file size.
It’s very easy, you can request a game from your downloaded friend by way of game backup and restore the game on your computer. Of course you can not copypaste like a normal game. Here is a guide on how to back up and restore the game on steam.
I. HOW TO GET STEAM GAME
1. Open and log your steam.
2. Click the steam menu in the upper left corner and select backup and restore games.
3. If there is an option like the picture below, select the current-installed backup programs.
4. Then there are several game options that you have installed on Steam. Select the game you want to backup.
5. Select the location where the game file backup will be stored by clicking the browse button.
6. Fill in the folder name to save the file in the backup file name file. and on file size, choose the one you want.
7. Click the next button and wait for the backup process to finish. – If the backup process is complete, copy the backup file and transfer it to your computer then start the restore.
II. HOW TO RESTORE GAME STEAM
1. Open and log your steam.
2. Click the steam menu in the upper left corner and select backup and restore games.
3. If there are options like the image below, restore a previous backup.
4. Click the browse button and find the backup file you copied from the previous step.
